Reception's Autumn Walk









We took the children down to the forest area to do an autumn hunt.

The children haven’t been before so the rules of the area were explained and working in small groups they tried to complete the checklist and find the signs of autumn.

I have found a yellow leaf. Brian

There aren't any conkers - there's no conker tree. Nina 

We think they all enjoyed our adventure. We also sat on the log circle and sang our autumn song which we have been practicing in class.

World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
