100 Reads heroes!

 Well done to those children who have made it to 100 reads at home this year! 


We have had 4 children across the school who have already read 100 times at home and we are so proud of them. This is no easy feat as it means reading every night after school and some at weekends too - they have shown real dedication and commitment to their learning and we think they are superstars!

We enjoyed a couple of chapters of a book together as we drank some delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows! What a treat! 



Look out for their photos on our reading hall of fame in the hall! I wonder if you can make it to 100 reads next term?!

World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
