Christmas Jumper Day - Year 6!

Year 6 had a wonderful Christmas-filled lunch today: Christmas tunes were playing; crackers were pulled and - most importantly - the children enjoyed a wonderful dinner with all the trimmings! 

It was brilliant to see them all in their festive gear - dressing up last Thursday wasn't enough! There was a real sense of community and Christmas cheer in the air and it was wonderful to see the children demonstrating reciprocity towards each other and clearly embodying our school values of peace and kindness. 
In line with Malala Yousafzai's advice, we educated our hearts and souls at lunch today and in the words of Mother Teresa, the children were the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in their faces, kindness in their eyes and kindness in their smile.

What an amazing day!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
