 Year 4's 'Mighty Oak' Public Speaking Workshop

Year 4 enjoyed a Public Speaking workshop yesterday afternoon. They all worked hard to use gestures and body language alongside persuasive language to present a formal discussion. This was extremely beneficial to the children by not only preparing them for an upcoming competition, but also because we are currently completing persuasive texts and debates in our English work!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
