Year 3 Trip

 Year 3 had a brilliant day out at Five Avenue Park and Springfield Hall Park on Friday. We did a range of activities to support our Plant it! topic. First, we conducted some research to find out what plants were in the park, checking the names against a plants encyclopedia. We realised that different plants from the school grew there because it was a different environment. After, the class went on a scavenger hunt along the river to find human and physical features. In the afternoon we enjoyed drawing the plant life around us, focusing on the details of the plant.
