Year 4 - Hinduism

 Year 4 have been learning about another religion - Hinduism.

Lots of Year 4 knew and shared interesting facts about Hinduism; it was super to have a respectful discussion about what others believe in. Hinduism is a particularly old religion, but does have some similarities with other religions such as Islam and Christianity.

Year 4 also tried writing using the language called 'Sanskrit.' In 'Sanskrit'  the word 'mandala' translates as circle; a symbolic diagram.

Great work Year 4!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
