Outstanding Hotel Projects in Year 6!

In year 6, the children have been developing their design and technology skills by planning and creating their own hotel to suit a particular brief. They initially thought carefully about their target market, the theme of their hotel and then the budget they would need for their idea to come to life. 

They are now creating their prototypes of specific rooms for their hotels. They are being very resourceful by recycling materials that would have been otherwise thrown away. It's great to see them imagining furniture from the scraps of rubbish they have!

Once they are completed, they will pitch their idea to the whole class and see if they have successfully won a bid for investment into their project. It will be like our own Dragon's Den at St Pius X!

The children have demonstrated resourcefulness, reciprocity and resilience throughout the project and we could not be prouder of them. We can't wait to hear their final pitches and see their finished prototypes! Excellent work, year 6!
