  Reading - Stay and Learn

We are delighted to invite parents, carers, grandparents and family members into school on Thursday 5th October at 2:45-3:15pm to read with your child or children. 


The school will be stopping our usual curriculum activities at this time to spend half an hour reading for pleasure. 

Bring along your favourite childhood book or choose from our collection of wonderful stories. 


You can move around the classes to read with siblings if you have more than one child in school. We hope to see you there!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
