Light and sound in year 3!

In year 3 we have been learning all about how light and sound travel. In the lesson above we investigated into what happens when you shine a light on an opaque object.. it creates a shadow! We discovered that the shadow becomes smaller as the light source moves further away!

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
