Year 1 tackle number lines!

 Year 1 headed outside earlier this week to practise drawing their number lines! 

We recapped ordinal numbers 0-10 and made sure to be careful when writing and forming our digits correctly. 

We also recapped the skills of 'one more' and 'one less' with our number lines to practise the skills that we had learnt in previous lessons this half term. 

We really enjoyed using the chalk and working together with our friends.

Well done, Year 1. Excellent Maths work!

World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
