Whole class read in Year 3- Bill's New Frock

In year 3 we have been really enjoying our whole class text 'Bill's New Frock'. We've been hot seating Bill, writing blurbs, making predictions/ inferences and even debating if we think school is easier for a boy or a girl!


'I think Bill is feeling embarrassed and maybe a little bit angry at how he's being treated in school now that he's a girl' Jashryl 

'It's not fair that the headteacher thinks that boys are stronger than girls, it's not true' Nathan

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
