Egyptian art in year 3!

In year 3 we are coming to the end of our work on Temples, Tombs and Treasures. It's been an amazing learning journey. From how to make an Egyptian mummy and the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb to how important the River Nile was to this civilization, we have had so much fun! Recently, we made Egyptian headdresses in a similar style to those worn my the Pharaohs thousands of years ago!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
