Year 5 Trip to the National History Museum
Today I am thrilled to share some highlights from Year 5's recent educational adventure to the National History Museum. ð✨
ð Journey to Learning: The day started with a bus ride full of anticipation as our Year 5 students headed to the iconic National History Museum in London. The excitement was palpable, we saw some of London's most famous attraction on-route to the museum, the children caught glimpses of the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, HMS Belfast, London Bridge and The London eye. ððĶð§
ðĶ Diving into History: As soon as our students stepped foot into the museum, they were greeted by the awe-inspiring skeleton of a blue whale, setting the tone for the adventure that awaited them. From dinosaur fossils to ancient artifacts, the museum provided a captivating journey through time that left our students wide-eyed and filled with curiosity. ðĶīð
ð Interactive Learning: The interactive exhibits at the museum allowed our students to engage with history in a hands-on way. They got to touch fossils, handle ancient tools. The enthusiasm and energy in the air were contagious as the children delved deeper into the past. ðĩ️♂️ð
ð Memorable Moments: One of the most memorable parts of the trip was when the students saw the world-renowned dinosaur specimens. Their faces lit up with wonder and amazement, and it was a joy to see them making connections between their classroom learning and the real-world examples in front of them. ðĶðŦ
