Year 2's Fantastic Exit Point

 To celebrate and consolidate our learning about transport, Year 2 were lucky enough to have a visit from Lookers Ford! We prepared questions such as 'How much horsepower does it have?' and 'What is the car made out of?'

In this IPC unit we have also enjoyed investigating air resistance by making different sized paper helicopters and comparing their speed. We made predictions and shared ideas about whether the helicopters would fall faster or slower. It was extra fun to test them outside on a breezy day!

Here are some examples of our Art work. We looked at examples of how artists have portrayed 'movement' by using shading, lines and patterns. Then we created our own 'moving' piece of art by using some of these techniques.
