Reception and Year 1 visit the Storytelling centre

On Wednesday, Reception and Year 1 visited the Story Telling Centre in Stratford. 

We had a great time together and learned a lot. The children sat brilliantly on the coach and were very well behaved. 

When we got there we enjoyed a play in the garden playground. The children enjoyed climbing and exploring the sensory elements in the garden. 

After this we had a storytelling workshop. The children enjoyed listening to the stories as the actresses played roles and created story scenes. They were then encouraged to explore the centre and come up with their own characters and story ideas. The children came up with ideas for a story which they can write back in school.

The children were well behaved and listened well! We were very proud of them.
