Netball Team Win!

The netball team had their second game just a few days after their debut.

They were up against Great Leighs Primary school which was set to be a close competition. 

The match was an even contest and the first quarter ended 0-0.

The squad soon got into their stride and had a long spell of possession and made some beautiful passes between them. 

The opponents had a strong defence so scoring was difficult at times. 

As the match continued, the first goal was scored by Jessica giving them the confidence and belief that they could win by more.

The third quarter saw Julia shoot and score a fabulous goal and during the remaining few minutes, Estera made a glorious shot from around 8 feet from the post, securing the win.

The final whistle was blown and the game ended 3-0 to St Pius!

The squad played a wonderful game, moving into spaces,  passing and working together to get the ball into the net.
