World Art Day! 🎨

🎨 WORLD ART DAY - 15th April 2024

Today we celebrated all things arty by trying out different art workshops in our Key Stages. From pointillism to collage to sketching and sculpture, every child experienced a selection of art-based activities! This was a fantastic opportunity to foster creativity and encourage resilience and exploration, using a variety of materials.

Some of the pupils said:

'Art is relaxing and peaceful!'

'You can learn things from art.'

'People communicate through art, like cave paintings.'

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer!  We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
