Archery - Taster day!

We had a special day, where all classes got an archery taster lesson! It was fun to do something different, while using our fine motor skills to compete against others in a range of fun activities.


KS1 and KS2 enjoyed some specialized coaching sessions for the day. They learnt how to use a bow and arrow and how to aim at a target. We even saw some bullseyes! Here are year 3 enjoying their session..


 


Right at the end I hit a bullseye and won the game for my team! It was such a fun lesson Elodie

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
