100 and 200 reads prizes

Today the children who have made an extra effort with their reading homework over the year have received their prizes!

Those who have ready 100 times or over received a lolly and those who have read 200 times received an ice cream! 

This is a huge achievement and these children have shown our learning powers of resilience and reflectiveness in their attitudes towards reading at home!

We have over 90 children received 100 or 200 read certificates this year - well done St Pius X! 

I am looking forward to seeing what we can achieve next year!

World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
