A psalm is a song of praise to God

After reading Psalm 19:1-5, we talked about all the things we are thankful for. This included our families, pets, water, shelter, friends, toys and teachers. We lit our class candle to remind us that God is always with us, especially when we are praying together. Then we had a quiet, reflective prayer time to talk to God and say thank you, sorry, or just tell Him how we are feeling.

We decided to make cards to give to the elderly people in our community to cheer them up and remind them that God loves them! This is a great example of our school value of 'service.' 

Our rising suns had special sun rays stating what we were thankful for.

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
