Performance poetry in year 3!

 In English in year 3, we have started a new unit on poetry. With our partners we used both voice and movement to bring a comedic poem to life in front of the class. We had to really focus on our speaking skills to get our voices to reach the back of the room. Next, we will be writing riddles and poems using devices such as alliteration and similes!


The poem was really funny, I did the actions while Bella did most of the reading Henry

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
