Caught you being kind - Reception

This week, the school is celebrating our value of kindness. To mark this in Reception we have read the book 'Kind' in class. Here is a link to the story on Youtube. 

We set the children a kindness challenge! The adults in the room had to catch them being kind at some point throughout the week. When the children were caught being kind they received a certificate to take home. 









Here are some of the reasons children in Reception won their 'Caught you being kind' certificates... 

Anishka for helping others on the climbing frame. 

Chenai for helping a friend pick up a dropped toy. 

Olive for opening the door for a friend. 

We are really proud of our kind pupils!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
