Year 6 - Diverse genres in the Bible

During today’s Year 6 RE lesson, we explored the diverse genres found in the Bible, including historical narrative, poetry, prophecy, and parables. Pupils learnt how each genre uniquely conveys God’s message and how understanding the purpose and context of these literary styles enhances their interpretation of Scripture.

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
