Safer Internet Day in Year 5

To mark Safer Internet Day Year 5 had a session on SCAMs and Phishing. 

We enjoyed playing a game where the children had to identify the sign of a scam in different scenarios. The children joined up in groups to play and all had to agree on the sign of the scam. 


The children learned the signs to look out for in a scam using the helpful acronym: SCAM


We then worked on creating tips or helpful hints for others looking out for scams while they are online. The children created their tips through a messaging screen. They all came up with some great ideas for staying safe online!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
