Litter Picking - Year 2 IPC Exit Point

Year 2 have been very excited to serve the local community by participating in a local litter pick! 

Our school's sustainability action plan is linked to looking after our local community and environment. 
As CAFOD's 'Pilgrims of Hope' our class decided to protect our world.

This is a great way for the children to actively contribute in a meaningful and memorable way!

Our IPC topic 'Live and Let Live' has been focused on habitats, animals, plants and the environment, so this is the perfect way to celebrate the end of the topic!

Great fun at Bawdsey Manor with Year 6!

Year 6 have had an amazing few days away on their residential trip and are on their way back to school now. They have certainly developed all four of their learning powers: reciprocity, resourcefulness, reflectiveness and resilience through the range of activities they have participated in at Bawdsey Manor.  They should be especially proud of how well they have represented St Pius X, demonstrating our school values throughout. Well done, Year 6!
