Superhumans!

We had an exciting carousel of activities to kick-start our new IPC topic!

We used talk partners to gather ideas about what makes humans amazing! Ideas included that we can learn, move, rest, make choices and try new things!

We used role-play to be opticians and check each other’s eyesight, played the shopping game and went on a senses walk around the school!

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
