Year 4 -Numberlines

 This week, Year 4 are looking at numberlines. We're thinking about how to make them, what the rules are and how they can help us in with our arthematic. To help us visualise and understand how to construct a numberline, we created human numberlines with whiteboards and rulers. We started simple, adding 100 each time. Then we worked out what the missing numbers on the line would be. Finally, with only the first and last number, we worked out how much each interval was increaseing/decreasing by.
