Looking after our world in Year 3 RE

 This week, Year 3 demonstrated wonderful stewardship by helping to clean and tidy the school entrance area. The children rolled up their sleeves and worked together to sweep, collect litter and make sure our school grounds looked welcoming for everyone.

In RE, the children have been learning about the Creation Story and discussing what it means to be good stewards of God’s world. They reflected on how God asked humans to take care of the Earth and everything in it. By taking time to care for their own environment, the children put this message into action in a very real and practical way





God created our world so we need to look after it Blessed

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
