Year 4 - Service Week

 This week is service week so Year 4 had a good think about what we can do as an act of service for our school. We didn't it would reflect our school value of Kindness if we made welcome cards for the Reception Class and the new memebers of staff. Some got very creative with their designs including cutting cards into different shapes and making them 3D. We hope all the new students feel welcomed into our community and they enjoy the new stage of their life. 


"I hope they really enjoy being at our school."

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
