Y2 Maths - Explaining our thinking!

Today Year 2 had a carousel of Maths questions to solve!

They had to draw on prior learning and apply their understanding to different questions. This was in order to 'revise' and consolidate our learning so far!

It was great to see discussions about how they could solve the questions, if there was more than one answer and if they could apply their knowledge!

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
