Year 6 - New Chromebooks!

Today, Year 6 have been using our new Chromebooks as part of their IPC topic, WW2: The Home Front. The children have been working with Google Sites to create their own websites, sharing information about the vital role women played during the Second World War.



This exciting work has allowed pupils to develop their research, digital, and presentation skills while deepening their understanding of an important period in history.



The Chromebooks have been generously funded by the PTA, and we would like to say a huge thank you to the PTA and our whole school community. Your continued support helps ensure we can provide the very best resources for our children’s learning.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
