Essex County Council Education, in partnership with children’s charity Coram-Pacey, is seeking to find out about how parents and carers access information relevant to them and their family, and their use of the Essex FIS.

 

A short online survey has been created which we request that schools share with parents as widely as possible. A flyer is attached, this contains the link to the survey as well as a QR code.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
