Free Easter Holiday Clubs

Easter holiday clubs with Essex ActivAte are now live to book across Essex and Thurrock, with thousands of free activity spaces available for eligible school‑aged children and young people. Families can now book onto more than 200 local clubs, offering a brilliant mix of fun activities, movement, and a free, nutritious meal each day. The programme also provides reliable and supportive childcare throughout the school holidays, helping families manage routine, work and wellbeing.

 

To book a free place at an Essex ActivAte Easter club, eligible parents will receive an emailed, HolidayActivities voucher code from their child’s school. Each child will receive their own unique code and booking link, taking parents straight to the HolidayActivities platform, where they can log in or create an account to secure their space.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
