🌏 COMPETITION 🌏 

Wow - we certainly have some creative pupils here at St Pius!

We wanted to celebrate Earth Day, thinking about why our world is precious and how we can be responsible citizens by looking after our environment. 

We have been overwhelmed with entries and the quality, effort and important messages that have been included is just amazing. Thank you to everyone who participated in the competition. 

It has been incredibly difficult to choose a winner from KS1 and KS2!

Every entry has been awarded 20 house points and all posters are proudly displayed around the school.



KS1 Winner - Joelle! 

Her 3D Earth was decorated with beautiful watercolours and some reminders on how to look after the Earth!

KS2 Winner - Austin! 

His 3D save the earth poster had lots of important messages!

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
