History week in Year 2!

 For History week, year 2 have been delving into and learning about The Great Fire of London. We've looked at how artefacts, stories and pictures help us to understand the past. The class showed great reciprocity, working together to explore the work of David Best. We also looked at Samuel Pepys and made some brilliant fact files about his life!



I love History and have been really enjoying reading about The Great Fire of London - Harrison

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
