All Saints Mass

1st November 2024


Today the whole school celebrated All Saints in a Mass led by Fr. Paul and the School Chaplaincy Team.



Lily read the first reading from Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14

In the scripture reading from Matthew, we were reminded by Fr. Paul that,

'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.'


Fran: 'We are being asked in the scripture to promote peace.  Our school value of Peace (Malala), is very important to everyone that belongs to the community of St Pius X and we are reminded and challenged to achieve this in our everyday lives.'

Fr. Paul led the whole school community in prayer:

R: For peace on earth, that those in authority may follow the example of the saints who worked for peace and love.

Fr. Paul: Lord, hear us. Lord, graciously hear us.



We celebrated the Eucharist and some children and staff received a blessing from Fr. Paul.  Everyone was welcomed and included in the Mass and invited to hear God's word.

World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
