Service Week: 'A life not lived for others is not a life.' Mother Teresa

Today's Whole School Liturgy reminded everyone that there's nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life more beautiful for others!

Mrs Derbyshire shared a story about her lovely cat, Lottie.  Lottie was recently very unwell and had to be hospitalised for a while in the vets to make her better.  Mrs Derbyshire was so grateful for the wonderful care and nursing that Lottie received, even over a weekend.  She was so appreciative of the extra mile the staff went to help Lottie that she left a nice review for the vets and all the staff.  They were so delighted that they got in touch and posted it with a lovely picture of Lottie for everyone to see!



Mrs Derbyshire reminded us of one of Mother Teresa's quotes, as we celebrate Service Week:

Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great LOVE!!

Another fantastic day at PGL! Despite the weather not playing along, we've embraced the change in schedule with enthusiasm. The children have risen to the occasion, tackling new challenges and making the most of every moment.  All the children have slept well and are enjoying the food on offer! World Book Day 2024

 We were so impressed with the costumes this year!  The children (and staff) made a brilliant effort and this also encourage lots of 'Book talk' throughout the day with children role playing as their character and discussing the stories they were from.  Well done all!
