What to Expect:

Have questions about your child's needs and the best support available? The SEND Roadshow brings together a variety of professionals under one roof, including local support groups, education professionals, health teams, and social care teams.

You can:

• access support and information
• understand the different services available
• discover local support, such as parent groups and inclusive activities
• attend free talks

 

Special Afternoon Session for Ages 0-5: The afternoon is tailored for younger children, with interactive story times and activities run by Essex Libraries.

 

Free Workshops: Join our free workshops to learn more:

• 10:30 AM: Managing Big Emotions – Support for parents whose children can become overwhelmed and dysregulated (by Adult Community Learning)
• 10:30 AM: ADHD (by ADHD+ support)
• 2:00 PM: Children’s language and communication through playful learning at home (ages 0-5) (by Talk, Listen and Cuddle)
• 2:00 PM: Sensory development in a child’s early years (ages 0-5) (by Occupational Therapists)
