Animal lovers can get up close and cuddly with 70 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Meet Elvis, Dotty, Zippy and Tinkerbell! After making plenty of new four-legged friends, you can grab a slice of cake, a tasty snack or a takeaway cuppa in Dolly’s Café. All proceeds support the hundreds of animals in Redwings’ care, including those you meet on your visit!

Facilities: Disabled parking & toilets, free parking, dogs on leads welcome, gift shop, Dolly's Cafe, picnic area, pushchair friendly. Open Fridays, Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
