Yr 4- Human Body Entry Point

We've started off our topic on the human body with a fun activity out in the sun. We looked into how much we knew about the organs in the human boady. Working in groups, we drew round one person and then filled in the inside of the person with as many organ as we could think of. We tried to put the organs in the correct place and tried to draw them accurately. We then compared all diagrams and thought about what we knew about each organ.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
