Netball team

Today some of the girls played their last netball game representing St Pius.



Jessica, Rina, Leeya, Grace, Estera and Ava will all be leaving us at the end of the year as they all go into year 7 in September!

I hope they all continue playing netball at their secondary schools as they really have all become great players and I will miss coaching them.

Nicola and Emma will continue playing, along with Raveena and Mia who played their debuts today.  They fit right into the team!


The sun was scorching but the girls played some good netball, communication was great and positive attitudes all round.
It was a friendly game versus Broomfield Primary who also have a good little team.

Well done to all, playing in this heat too! I was certainly hot running up and down the court being the umpire!

I am so proud of all them!

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
