Year 4 visit Blessed Sacrament

It's that time of year again. Year 4 walked down to Blessed Sacrament Church for morning mass. Despite the drizzle, they were well behaved and enjoyed the experience of taking part in the mass. The students did the school so proud that they even had parishoners tell them they were a credit to the school. We all enjoyed our experience and look forward to the next one.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
