Year 3 go to church!

 This morning our lovely Year 3 children from St Pius X had a very special trip to Blessed Sacrament Church, where we attended a Mass with Father Paul.

During the Mass, the children listened carefully to the readings and prayers. They especially enjoyed responding during the service and taking time to reflect. The children showed wonderful respect throughout the visit and asked some thoughtful questions afterwards. It was a lovely opportunity for Year 3 to deepen their understanding of our faith and experience Catholic worship in a meaningful way.

A big thank you to Father Paul and everyone at Blessed Sacrament Church for welcoming us so warmly. It was a peaceful and memorable day for all of us.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
