KS1 competition - Nativity

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to design a front cover for our upcoming nativity - Busy, Busy Bethlehem!

We have been astounded by some of the amazing entries and it was very difficult to choose the winners!

All of the designs will be displayed around the school.

The winners are:

Reception - Idrees and Macie

Year 1 - Coby and Joelle

Year 2 - Cairo and Hannah

We are excited to perform this week and to remember the true reason for our celebrations at Christmas.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
