Scholastic Book fair is coming to St Pius!

Next week the Book fair will arrive in school.

It will be in the school hall on the following dates and times: 

Thursday 5th February - 3.20pm

Friday 6th February - 3.20pm

Monday 9th February  - During Parents' evening

Tuesday 10th February - During Parents' evening


Your child will be able to use their 'World book day token' in advance at the book fair - all children will receive £1 off any purchases. 

Please note that the book fair is now cashless! You pay via QR code online.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
