Year 4 - Land, Sky and Sea

 Today, Year 4 started their new IPC topic: Land, Sky and Sea. We'll be looking at different environments and how animals adapt to those environments. To kick off the new topic, the students drew the different evironments that they new off. What we thought the features of those environments might be and how they might be different to other environments. We're looking forward to discovering more about these different environments and the animals that live within them.

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
