Year 4 - SuperStars

 Today, Year 4 took part in the Superstars event. They competed against six other schools in a range of sport skill activities. The scooter race was very popular, but so was the throwing and cup stacking. The class worked realy hard and even when tasks were tricky non of the gave up. We all had a brilliant time and enjoyed the chance to go up against other schools. 

We did aaxingly well. Alexis came third out of all the girls in the competetion and St Pius took first place out of all the schools. 
Well done, Year 4!

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
