Padel team enjoy special taster day of sport!

Pupils from St Pius X School enjoyed an exciting and action-packed day of padel at Beaulieu Padel Club, showing great enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout.

The team played brilliantly across their matches, securing two impressive wins in their league games. Even in their two losses, they showed incredible determination—missing out by just two points each time, which is a testament to how closely contested the matches were.

It was a special day filled with teamwork, effort, and smiles all around. The children represented their school superbly and should be very proud of their performances. Well done to everyone involved!

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
