 This week in RE, we have continued learning the story of Pentecost. The children worked together to act out the story starting from when Jesus died on Good Friday. 

We waved our arms above our heads to represent the wind, twinkly fingers to represent the fire and then practiced speaking in different languages. 

The children then went around to each other to share the news of Jesus and his miracles. 

'This is the Holy Spirit'- Nina 

'It's a miracle'- Ethan 

'Jesus is the God of life'- Valentina

'It was a miracle, he resurrected and then ascended'- Elijah

Bawdsey Day 2

Today has been another action-packed day here at Bawdsey, with the children up bright and early, full of energy and excitement for what lay ahead. After a hearty hot breakfast to fuel the morning, the first activities kicked off: canoeing and Survivor (a fantastic session of den building and outdoor skills). The children embraced the challenge, showing great teamwork and creativity as they constructed their shelters and took to the water with enthusiasm. Following a tasty lunch, the afternoon brought even more thrills with the giant swing — a definite favourite! There were plenty of cheers (and a few nervous giggles) as each child took their turn. We rounded off the day’s activities with a problem-solving session, where teamwork, communication, and thinking outside the box were the keys to success.
