Happy Summer 2026!

 

As we come to the end of another successful school year, I would like to say a huge well done to all of our amazing children for their hard work, determination and enthusiasm throughout the year. You have all achieved so much and should be incredibly proud of yourselves.

I would also like to thank our wonderful staff for their dedication, care and commitment, and our parents and carers for your continued support and partnership. Your encouragement at home and your trust in us make such a difference, and together we have created another successful and memorable year for our children.

Today, we came together for our End of Year Celebration Assembly, and what a wonderful way it was to finish the year! Seeing the whole school singing and dancing together to "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" by Shakira, was a truly joyful moment and a perfect reflection of the happiness, togetherness and sense of community that makes our school so special!

There have been so many memorable moments to look back on this year, but another highlight was yesterday's Year 6 water fight! It was wonderful to see the children having so much fun, with some of the younger pupils enjoying watching from the sidelines. I think it's fair to say that the staff may have enjoyed it just as much as the children!

On a personal note, I would like to thank all of our families for your thoughtful cards, generous gifts and kind words at the end of the year. Your generosity and appreciation mean so much to all of us and are never taken for granted.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a caring, supportive and welcoming school community. It is a privilege to work alongside you all and to be part of our school family.

I hope you all have a safe, happy and restful summer break. We look forward to welcoming all of our children and families back on Thursday 3rd September for another exciting year of learning, friendship and success.
